Ruziza Metal
A durable 150mm stainless-steel vernier caliper for accurate inside, outside and depth measurements with smooth fine adjustment.
Precision for everyday workshop work
The Ruziza Metal 150mm Vernier Caliper is built for repeatable measurement鈥攚hether you鈥檙e checking drill bit diameters, verifying a 3D print, or sizing bearings and washers. The stainless-steel beam and jaws give a solid feel in hand and stand up to regular use.
Outside, inside and depth鈥攐ne tool
Measure external sizes with the main jaws, internal diameters with the upper jaws, and depths using the integrated depth rod. A locking screw helps you hold a reading while you move to the workpiece to mark, compare or record.
Smoother control with fine adjustment
The thumb wheel fine adjustment makes it easier to creep up on a measurement without overshooting鈥攅specially useful on small parts and tight tolerances. The etched vernier scale is crisp and easy to read under bench lighting.
Made for UK DIY and maker setups
Supplied ready to use and backed by UK-based support, this is a dependable choice for home workshops, garages and hobby benches. Keep it accurate with simple care: wipe clean after use and apply a light oil to the beam for storage.

How to Use
- Clean the jaws: Wipe the measuring faces to remove dust or swarf.
- Close to zero: Gently close the jaws and confirm the vernier aligns at 0. If needed, re-check for debris.
- Outside measurement: Place the part between the main jaws, use the thumb wheel to fine-adjust, then lightly tighten the lock screw.
- Inside measurement: Use the upper jaws inside a hole or tube and open until contact is just firm, then lock.
- Depth measurement: Rest the base on the surface and extend the depth rod into the recess to the bottom.
- Read the vernier: Read the main scale first, then add the vernier alignment value for the final measurement.
- Care: Wipe clean after use and apply a light machine oil to the beam before storage.
Customer Reviews
Bought it for jewellery making and it鈥檚 spot on for measuring wire, jump rings and tiny spacers. The thumb wheel makes it easy to creep up on the size without slipping.
Sarah Mitchell, London
Arrived quickly and feels properly solid鈥攏o wobble in the slide. I鈥檝e used it to check drill bits and bolt shanks and the etched scale is clear under workshop lights.
James Henderson, Manchester
As someone who teaches basic metrology, I appreciate the smooth action and the lock screw for repeat readings. The vernier lines are crisp, which reduces reading error.
Dr. Eilidh Fraser, Edinburgh
Great value and accurate on the jobs I鈥檝e tried (bike headset spacers and bearings). Only minor gripe: the edges are a touch sharp out of the box鈥攓uick deburr and it鈥檚 perfect.
Oliver Wright, Bristol
I had a cheaper caliper that would stick; this one glides smoothly and the fine adjustment is a game changer. Measuring inside diameters is much more consistent.
Rebecca Thompson, Leeds
Used it for 3D printing鈥攃hecking wall thickness and nozzle sizes. Reads reliably, but I did need 10 minutes to refresh how to read a vernier (not the tool鈥檚 fault).
David Patel, Birmingham
Perfect for woodworking joinery layout鈥攃hecking dowel and hole sizes before glue-up. The lock holds the measurement while I transfer it to the piece.
